Evolve Discovery Participates as Project Co-Leader in EDRM Metrics Team 2010-2011

Press Release, San Francisco, CA – May 13, 2010 – Evolve Discovery, a full service litigation consulting company, is proud to announce that Shamir Colloff, Chief Technology Officer, will be participating as Project Co-Lead for the EDRM 2010-2011 Metrics Project Team. The mission of the EDRM Metrics Project is to provide an effective means of measuring the time, money and volumes associated with e-discovery activities. In addition, the Metrics model group is responsible for creating tracking, reporting and measurement protocols to assess e-discovery activities, and, to the extent metrics data becomes available, begin analysis of that data.

The kickoff for the EDRM VI (2010-2011) project commenced today with the objective for each of the eight project teams to present a high level summary of results from the 2009-2010 year and a preliminary set of objectives for the 2010-2011 year.

The Metrics project follows the e-discovery process described in the Electronic Discovery Reference Model: identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, analysis, and production, as well as the overarching project management activities that are in inherent part of any e-discovery undertaking.

Colloff and team will seek to expand the scope, breadth and depth of case studies relating to metrics with the goal to standardize a recommendation on how to collect, manage and measure these metrics for best use in discovery planning.
